Description
Mint condition copy of DIE DANCING BEARS 7" single "DRUG DANCE" b/w "NEW YORK VALENTINE" self-released in 1982 on plain label. According to my fading memory, DIE DANCING BEARS were a gothic-tinged post-punk band who moved from Adelaide to Sydney, where their staple gig was the infamous French's Tavern on Oxford Street. If that's wrong, drop me a line & I'll edit the description. I googled for info on this band & the only reference I came up with was notice of the passing of Lynton Cox (vocalist of Die Dancing Bears & other 1980s "black art" rock bands) dated early 2005. According to dB magazine (Adelaide) he died from a heart attack at age 41. Needless to say, this is a very rare artifact from the early 1980s, in very rare condition. Sleeve is in excellent shape. New condition lyric sheet is included. Record is new - MINT+.
