Description
Up for auction here is "Cows and Beer" by Die Kreuzen on the Version Sound label. The original record (not a re-issue and purchased in the same collection as all the other Milwaukee punk singles I'm selling this week) is VG/VG+ with some light scuffing and plays great. The lyric insert is NM. The pic sleeve is VG+ with light wrinkling and a few tiny splits. This version with the yellow-ish sleeve is considerable rarer than the white one coming from an edition of 200 (or 300 depending on who you ask). It's recently been bootlegged (or maybe re-issued...I'm not clear), so don't be scammed and pay too much. I am also selling a copy of one in the white (off-white) sleeve. It's interesting that they have different lyric inserts. The proper one for the yellow sleeve is typewritten. And the one that comes with the white sleeve is hand written....collect 'em both. These are Brew City classics. I have put a reserve on both of these (which I rarely do) because of the possible confusion with both of them being at auction at the same time (and also having an abundance of re-issues/bootlegs on the market at the same time). First Class International service starts at $6.00 for a single. winnings will be combined and save you money. Feel free to email for a quote for multiple items. Once a package goes over 4 lbs (usually at 5 records), the package can no longer be shipped First Class. It automatically becomes Priority Mail. Any package valued over $200 must also be shipped Priority Mail. Shipping via Priority Mail starts at $38 for a 4 lb. package (usually around 5 records).
