Description

This album is by legendary jazz vocalist Dinah Washington. Entitled "Dinah Jams!",it was released in 1954 on emarcy MG 36000. She is backed by a who's who of jazz including "Clifford Brown,Maynard Ferguson,Max Roach,Keter Betts,Richie Powell,Junior Mance,Clark Terry,Herb Geller and Harold Land. Vinyl is on the original blue and silver label with the deep groove and the drummer logo. Vinyl of side one has nice gloss and some light scuffs and I would grade it at a strong vg+ while side two grades at a stronger vg+ to vg++. Overall play is fairly decent with a little light background hiss in a a few of the quieter moments. Cover is a very solid vg+ to vg++ with a little of the plastic lamination loosened of the front and a small tear on the back.
