Description

AFTER A MONTH'S BREAK I'M BACK WITH MORE GREAT PROMO ITEMS FROM A COLLECTION ORIGINALLY OWNED BY A DISC JOCKEY WHO WORKED IN RADIO IN WEST VIRGINIA AND GEORGIA DURING THE MID 1960s, THEN WENT TO WORK AT WOR-FM AND WABC-FM IN NEW YORK CITY DURING THE LATER 1960s - KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS FOR MORE TOP QUALITY ROCK ITEMS!

This is an ORIGINAL 1963 U.S. COLUMBIA RECORDS 7" RED VINYL TWO-SIDED PROMO 45 PACKAGED IN AN ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL RELEASE PICTURE SLEEVE containing the track titled 'Ruby Baby' from Dion.  It is Coumbia Records U.S. catalog number JZSP 58841.

PLEASE NOTE: This promo 45 originally came packaged in a custom promotional only sleeve, which was not present when I obtained this 45 - In order to make this item more interesting I have packaged this 45 with the original commercial release picture sleeve for the 'Ruby Baby' / 'He'll Only Hurt You' 45, Columbia Records catalog number 4-42662.

Please see my accompanying images for label characteristics.

Condition of play surface is a real nice EX with  a very few light visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Record plays with a little light surface noise in the lead-in area.  Both labels have some contact wear, no other real flaws.  Condition of commercial issue picture sleeve is a high VG+ with some slight wrinkles, a little contact wear, and some general wear along the edges.  Sleeve has no water damage, splits, tears, writing, or stickers.  Please e-mail me with any questions.  This rare two-sided red vinyl promo 45 would be a choice addition to any Dion, doo-wop, or early 1960s rock-n-roll record collection!  First class mail postage within the U.S. is $3.50.  I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (10.50) AND GERMANY is $13.50 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!!  PLEASE NOTE: AN EXTRA $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED OVER $50.00 GOING TO BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES.  ALSO, DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $13.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY.  I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES.  BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 and sleeve if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
