Description

DIRE STRAITS
LIVE AT THE OLD WALDOF 1979

VERY RARE LIVE LP WITH WRAP AROUND PAPER SLEEVE

SLEEVE SHOWS OVERALL LIGHT WEAR no splits, no creases, no writing. EX VINYL SHOWS ALL SHEEN but has some light scuffs VG+
This is a very good sounding radio broadcast of the Old Waldorf show. It is from KFOG FM in San Francisco. The radio show is called the KFOG ARCHIVES HOUR. It's the same concert as the "On the road to Philadelphia" bootleg. However, the radio broadcast is more complete. For example Mark Knopfler talks a lot more to the audience, and it is not edited. Sound is excellent, much better than the "On the road to Philadelphia" bootleg. There is not much announcer talking, but it is a woman, and she briefly mentions Old Waldorf, and KFOG ARCHIVES HOUR.

tracks are: Down To The Waterline, Six Blade Knife, Once Upon A Time In The West, Lady Writer, Where Do You Think You're Going?, News, What's The Matter Baby?, Lions, Sultans Of Swing, Eastbound Train and Southbound Again. prime era Dire Straits at their best in excellent quality.
