This is AN ORIGINAL 1986 WARNER BROS. RECORDS U.S. QUIEX II VINYL LIMITED EDITION PRESS PROMO LP titled 'Brothers In Arms' from Mark Knopfler's great band Dire Straits.  It is Warner Bros. Records U.S. catalog number 1-25264, with Quiex II and promo stickers on the front cover.  Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original custom inner sleeve with song lyrics and album credits.
THIS ALBUM CAME FROM A LARGE COLLECTION I PURCHASED AWHILE AGO FROM A LONGTIME WARNER / ELEKTRA ASYLUM PROMOTION MAN WHO WORKED IN THE LOS ANGELES WEA OFFICES - I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS RECORD HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED.
Quiex II limited edition promo. Vinyl is dark see-through/translucent. 2 stickers to front cover.
Pressed by Allied Record Company, whose lower-case "a" stamp in runouts can be mistaken for a balloon, or a capital "Q".
"SLM ?" in the runout etching indicates that the lacquer disc was processed at, and the metal parts used to manufacture the record were made at Sheffield Lab Matrix.
