Description

In March 1998 Australian trio The Dirty Three released their now iconic album Ocean Songs. In 2005 the band would be joined onstage by Nick Cave to play the album in its entirety at ATP festival in New York, a show that since has developed into near mythic status. Both of these recordings are made available in this deluxe boxset, limited to just 700 copies.

Remastered for an enhanced listening experience, the boxset features 4LPs pressed on coloured vinyl. In addition the band's guitarist Mick Turner has created new artwork including a giant 8 panel pull out poster with words from the band on the recording and the ATP performance and a secondary poster that includes lots of great photos from the show. All housed in a beautiful slipcase.

This Ocean Songs box set has been signed by Warren Ellis himself! Only a handful of editions were signed at a couple of Brighton record stores, making this edition incredibly rare.

As it is signed the plastic sleeve is broken, but the set is brand new and has never been played.

The original album has been pressed on blue vinyl, whilst the live set is pressed on violet vinyl.

Happy Bidding :)
