Beautiful copy of the rare 1947 triple 45 boxed set of the songs and stories from Disney’s Song of the South, on Capitol CCF-3008. One of the first ever 45 boxed sets, and the rarest version of the Song of the South music, which also came out on the much more common 78 set, and later on an also more common LP. The 45 format wasn’t yet popular enough so they didn’t make nearly as many of them. Anyhow this copy is just beautiful. All three discs are very nearly mint and play flawlessly. Not a single mark at all. Just lovely discs, and all in their original sleeves. The box has a bit of light wear, with two torn corners (see photos) and a little surface wear, with some of the pasted-on cover slick tearing at the upper right corner, and a bit on the edges of the back one too. The hinge on the box is worn a bit but still attached. Really quite a nice box overall, and beautiful records. A hard copy to beat.
