Description
Lot of Four 78 rpm Records. These serve as a Time Capsule from Bill Leyden at Radio Stations KMPC & KFWB in the Early 1950's. Most are Sample/Promotional Copies. Some of them have Leyden's or another D.J.'s name on them, some have Record Company Reps names. Some have the call Letters on them. Records are in Good+ Condition, not a lot of scratches, dusty, need a good cleaning. This Lot includes:
Lula Reed, King Records #4649 "Dee Jay Sample, Not For Sale", Don't Make Me Love You/Going Back To Mexico The Ramblers (w/Tamara Hayes) RCA Victor Records #20-5240, "Record Prevue, Disc Jockey Sample, Not for Sale" Stamped: Mar 13 1953 Mama He Treats Your Daughter Mean/And The Bull Walked Around, Olay Freddie Mitchell, Mercury Records #70018 Marked: 10/22/52, Later Gator/Blue Coal Freddie Mitchell, Mercury Records #8286 Delicado/Perfidia Bill Leyden was a Game Show Host and has a Star on the Walk in Hollywood. More from this lot to come including Jazz, Country, Big Band and more Female Singers including Doris Day & Rosemary Clooney. These all came from a local Estate. How they ended up in Colorado?
