Description
You are bidding on a job lot of vinyl records from my collection as a DJ around the North West.
Featured here are some rare pressings with a Liverpool connection.
1. "Northern Songs - The Lennon and McCartney Songs The Beatles Never Issued" . Rare and highly sought after independent pressing from 1979 by Liverpool group Revolver, whose three band members have SIGNED the cover. This superb LP includes Revolver's single "One And One Is Two". This 17-track first issue is Unplayed and contains a wealth of Lennon and McCartney songs including "Step Inside Love" and "Hello Little Girl". Vinyl and sleeve are in Excellent condition. Unsigned copies of this album sell for around £40.
2. "Class of '64" - capturing the Mersey Beat sound of 1964 with this limited edition release from 1989 on Holly Records and distributed through Probe Plus. The LP features 12 new contemporary tracks by former members of the Merseybeats and Liverpool Express. Unplayed and in Excellent condition. Hard to find these days.
3. Rare 12" vinyl picture disc of Julian Cope's "Easty Risin (East Easy Rider)" taken from his 1991 album "Peggy Suicide". This limited edition issue comes in its own box. Some damage to the front of box and spine (see photos) as this release tended to get crushed in record shop racks. Vinyl is VG.
