This is the holy grail of rare avant guard jazz records. It is an original pressing (1 of around 100) of a recording made by Milford Graves and Don Pullen at Yale University in 1966 . This was the first of two recordings issued of that performance and is the rarer recording of the 2. It has never been reissued in any form as far as I know.

 The cover is a heavy black textured finish, handpainted by Graves and/ or Pullen and is also in excellent condition: no seam splits, shelf or edge marks.

Cover: Plain black thick-cardboard cover. Front is hand-painted as pictured. The cover is in stunning blemish-free mint condition! The cover is housed inside a heavy duty plastic cover as seen in the picture. See detailed description below. The cover is guaranteed to be in mint condition.

Vinyl: Black vinyl in EX+ condition--very minor wear. The record appears unplayed with the vinyl luster fully intact except for the slightest of superficial paper scuffs on both sides. The vinyl has been placed in a static-free polylined inner sleeve.  I played it once to check condition, and it plays with very very little background noise audible here & there, WELL below music's level Vg++.

Label: Plain white label, black print, mint condition with slight spindle marks on both sides.
