Jazz pianist Don Shirley plays a series of improvised compositions inspired by the tale of Orpheus in the Underworld, on original 1956 Cadence LP CLP-1009. This copy plays very well... it has some scuffs and light marks, but it unusually clean. There is a touch of background noise in some places. The first part of side one has a little bit of crackle but it lightens as the music progresses. The second side only has intermittent light background crackle, but is quite quiet most of the time. It really does play beautifully and sounds absolutely amazing. I have never seen a truly mint copy, and this is maybe the best I have ever come across... most are quite a bit noisier than this. The cover has the usual top and bottom seam splits, but not all the way through (see photos). The spine is intact, and so is the artwork and the look of the cover. There is a slightly bent corner at the top right, but otherwise looks great. This is a very nice copy.
