Original 1956 Canada press of LP on Cadence label (# CL 1009)
DON SHIRLEY titled "Orpheus in the Underworld"
CONDITION:
cover: G+
top & bottom edges completely split ~ ( & taped with thin ‘magic’ tape ~ beginning to peel ~
i think this is easily re-done as desired ) back has some staining ~
laminated front looks pretty good ~ please see pix ~
vinyl: G+
several lite scuffs & some multi track hairlines & needlemarks ~ opening tracks Side 1 have several tiny grit marks
all are shallow save for 1 that can be felt with fingertips ~ does not affect play integrity ~
plays totally without skips with several occasional lite clicks & soft surface crackle in spots ~ noticeable
mostly on intro/early grooves, between tracks & some of the more ambient moments
... an ultra rarity with only minuscule copies sold in Canada.....
