DON WILKERSON “Preach Brother!” RVG, Blue Note BST 84107 Stereo Vinyl

This is the “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of DON WILKERSON’S “Preach Brother!” on the “Liberty” labels of Blue Note BST 84107. Musicians: Don Wilkerson - tenor saxophone, tambourine, Sonny Clark – piano, Grant Green – guitar, Butch Warren – bass, Billy Higgins - drums.

VINYL plays very well, 95% quiet, with infrequent  pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No distortion. No skips. Very Good gloss. A few hairline marks, none feelable. (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The “Liberty” labels are clean, spindle wear. See photos.

ORIGINAL LAMINATED COVER is in VERY good shape.  Corners worn. Spine and seams nearly perfect. See photos. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket nearly pristine, slight ringwear. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
