Description
For auction is DON WILKERSON's "The Texas Twister," on Riverside RLP 332, MONO, DG, 1960. With Nat Adderley, Leroy Vinegar, SamJones, Barry Harris & Billy Higgins.
SOUND: VG+ (likely even better)
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall I thought the playback was outstanding! Very little trace of any extraneous noise. The only real imperfection is very occasional, single, soft, tics. Maybe an average of once per tune. It remains an awesome experience, but not perfect!
VINYL: VG/VG+
There are a few hairline marks or scuffs on either side. I judged all these to be superficial with the exception of a short mark in A2, which I could feel. The vinyl is glossy and clean-looking overall, and as referenced above, the playback is really very nice.
The record is on small blue "mike-and-reel" with deep grooves.
JACKET: G+/VG
The top and bottom edges are almost completely split, while the spine is still solid, with moderate wear. Corners are pretty rounded. Both front and back covers are reasonably clean and unmarked, except for a "promo" stamp on the back. There is moderate wear and aging.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
