Description

Beautiful copy of the rare TCB Records issue of Donald Byrd's and Booker Little's The Third World LP on TCB-104. This is a great sounding repressing of the even rarer 1960 LP called The Soul of Jazz Percussion, credited to various artists. This issue singles out Booker Little because he had died in 1961 and subsequently became something of a legend. But it also includes Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones from Miles Davis' group at the time. This pressing is a really wonderful sounding one, and this copy sounds fantastic. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has light shelfwear, with a slight ring and a 1 1/2" seam split at the top, and worn corners at the bottom.  But all in all it is quite lovely still, as you can see. This is really a top copy that sounds just wonderful.
