Matrix: BNLP 4118 A/BNLP 4118 B VanGelder
Cover is in beautiful condition with very few signs of previous wear or handling. Nice glossy laminate cover, no bubbles or separations. No ring wear, no tears, no losses. Seams are strong, intact, no splits. Back cover is bright and clean, bone white, no marks, no writing, no ring wear. Just some slight rippling of the paste-down in upper right--from the original manufacturing process, not damage. Corners are sharp, not bumped, with only a hint of rub. Grade the cover Near Mint Minus (NM-).
Vinyl is in nice condition, retains its original high gloss shine. A light, superficial scuff on Side One, not deep, can't be felt. Some very small hairlines on Side Two, nothing serious. Labels are clean, very bright, no significant marks around spindle holes, indicating very little previous play. I'm grading this vinyl as VG+ (very good plus), but it's actually nicer than most VG+ records, perhaps closer to Excellent Minus (EX-). May have some very light surface noise at the run-in grooves, but should disappear once music kicks in. A light tick here and there. Played in correct mono mode, this record should sound very nice. Very well-preserved, but not perfect.
