DONALD BYRD Parisian Thoroughfare BRUNSWICK French LP
Byrd in Paris volume 2
Donald Byrd Quintet - Parisian Thoroughfare (Byrd in Paris volume 2) Brunswick 87904 France 1958 / ??One of Donald Byrd's earliest recordings from during the time he spent in Paris in the late fifties, this was recorded live at the Olympia.
This LP is also available on cd and there's once been a Japanese pressing on Polydor but this release with the French Brunswick label is hard to find. Take a look at the pics above & below - this is different from the 1958 pressing (for example the label letters are a bright yellow instead of golden) but I am not aware of more recent pressings on Brunswick, not sure from what year this particular copy is.
This copy looks super nice, only mild crease on the cover corners as you can see in the pics. I have graded conservatively.
Runout groove number (machine etched): 87904-AO & BO.

Grading: Vinyl: VG+ (looks & sounds towards Mint, a few superficial and inaudible scuffs caused by the paper sleeve) Sleeve: VG+ (super clean, mild crease on the sleeve corners as seen in pics)
