DONALD FAGEN The Nightfly VG++ QUIEX II Virgin Vinyl Steely Dan 1982 Audiophile classic using many of the same musicians as Aja and Gaucho, this album has long been a favorite LP to test stereo systems capabilities. Promotional first releases of this title were pressed using QUIEX II virgin vinyl compound from Japan. When they had enough promos, they kept pressing until they ran out of this expensive stuff. This is one of those pressings mastered by Robert Ludwig at Masterdisk indicated in the dead wax. Plays very quietly with just a trace of noise hear and there keeping it from the highest rating but overall a sweet copy.
