This listing is for a hard to find 7 Inch vinyl single record

B Side Title: Along Came Pride
Catalog Number: 2807
Record Label: CBS
Year of Release: 1967
Donnie Elbert released this cover version of the Temptations classic in 1967 and it became a hot play on the Northern Soul scene.
The B side Along Came Pride was also a dance floor favourite.
This vinyl single plays to a VG+ standard.
It does have some visible hairlines and light marks but after several plays on both sides it is worthy of a VG+
There are some slight run - on crackles on Along Came Pride.
Sleeve Details:
The record comes in a CBS paper company sleeve from that era.
It is not the original sleeve, as somebody has written catalog numbers in pen, at the top edge sometime in the past.
The Condition of the sleeve is VG. It is intact and the record is not poking through any edges.
There is some upper edge creasing but for a 1960s sleeve it is ok I think.
I have kept the record in a plastic oversleeve to protect it.
I will be offering a lot more of my own records, in with my store stock very soon, as retirement is looming! Do keep us in your favourites, or pop back now and then to see the listings.
Please do always make allowance for some variation in sound, when playing older vinyl on new/ newer turntables.
In some cases, a record that is 4 or 5 decades old or more, is not going to sound like the new 180g vinyl of today.

We are unfortunately, not able to accept low offers on rare or hard-to-find vinyl, to enable resale, at a loss to our profits
