Beautiful original 1967 copy of Donovan's double-LP classic boxed set, A Gift from a Flower to a Garden, on Epic B2N-171. This is a wonderful copy. Both discs are just beautifully and play absolutely flawlessly. The first disc has a few light surface scuffs, sort of, but they are entirely superficial and do not affect the play at all. This is a beautiful sounding copy. The folder with the lovely 12 prints is complete and in perfect condition, and there is even a very rare insert advertising his projected periodical, Donovan's Isle. Was this magazine ever printed? I would like to know... Anyhow the insert is very rare. I have only ever seen this one and I am a huge Donovan fan. Now the box itself: there is a touch of wear, as usual. A few scuffs on the purple border, and little marks here and there, but the hinge is attached and all but one corner is untorn. The upper right corner has a bit of wear and that seam is torn, as all corners on this record usually are. See photo. All in all this is a very nice box. All the photos and artwork are unmolested and it is perfectly lovely. This is a truly top original copy.
