Description

This is a 1969 UK release on Down Town - DT-444, produced by Brother Dan.

The A side is a not too bad version of Paul Anka's Don't Gamble With Love, but the B side Song Bird is the side you want and need.

Disc plays strong despite audible deterioration - it isn't Mint by any means but it's more than fine for playing out and general listening pleasure and I have rated it very conservatively at VG+ (standard RC grades apply) - the modest start price reflects this.

Labels are better, particularly the A side which is nice and clean; the B side has a tiny spot at 10 o'clock where a price sticker may have been removed and there's a thin 1cm semi-circular strip missing at 3 o'clock on the push out. If this is an issue, give me a shout and I'll happily forward a detailed image.

All things considered, it sounds bloody great - nice song, strong vocal, great harmonies and a tuff little rhythm.

This little gem doesn't come up often - don't miss out.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
