SIGN UPA historic document in underground hip‑hop, Madvillain Demos captures the earliest raw versions of what would become one of the most influential rap albums of all time. Leaked online in 2002, these recordings revealed unfinished vocal takes from DOOM and skeletal beat sketches from Madlib’s Bomb Shelter sessions — rough, unpolished and electrifying.
Rather than derailing the project, the leak only intensified anticipation. When Madvillainy finally arrived in 2004, it was hailed as “one of the most anticipated releases in underground rap history,” and has since become a cornerstone of experimental hip‑hop.
This edition presents those early demo sequences for the first time on vinyl, offering a rare glimpse into the formative stages of a legendary collaboration.
