"Strange Days",rare second Lp by THE DOORS from Venice CA,released at THE END of 1967.On offer is the ultra rare German FIRSTPRESSING on the HIT-TON-Deutsche Vogue label with catnumber HTSLP 340046.This Lp is so damned rare:Only 2000 where quickly made&sold,because the first distribution rights for Elektra are holding by the Deutsche Vogue(Vogue in France sold the first three Lp`s on the Vogue label),also the first three singles in Germany are released on the Vogue label.After that,very immediate the German sister of Elektra,Metronome takes over and start with the destribution of that album in the beginning of 1968.Those common variation is known as"Gold-Elektra"label.This HIT-TON issue of "Strange Days"is also the absolutely first Lp release by THE DOORS in Germany,altough the Lp"The Doors"is the real first album(In USA&U.K.)by this band.The very heavy vinyl is in NEAR MINT(M--,swol)condition,has just a couple of the lightest surface hairlines which are not audible.The half laminated(Front laminated,back mat)is in NEAR MINT(M--,swocb)shape too!!!This album is definitely much rarer than the rare GER Clubpressing"Open The Doors For The Doors"......................
