On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Doors called 'Waiting For The Sun' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Orange Elektra label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE DOORS RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT - BUT THIS IS THE RAREST & EARLIEST UK 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH AN IMPOSSIBLY RARE FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER!!!! ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST PRESSINGS EVER CAME WITH AN ULTRA RARE GATEFOLD FLIPBACK COVER - MOST DID NOT (THEY WERE NON FLIPBACK INSTEAD!) - AND THIS MAKES THIS THE RAREST UK 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS ORANGE ELEKTRA LABEL, 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD FLIPBACK MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Elektra UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKL 4024 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Orange Elektra Label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in GREAT condition overall (see pictures) with NO wear, some writing on 1 label, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 1 visible (but NON sounding!) scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK!!!! It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! There is also some audible background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - though this is mostly lost WAY behind the music and this record is still VERY playable indeed!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 1st Press Gatefold Flipback MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! The cover has barely ANY edge wear (only the merest hint of 'touching in'), barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, only 2 or 3 absolutely TINY touches of 'touched in' wear on the EXTREME back left Gatefold, and NO writing (apart from a TINY 'XIII' in 1 corner)!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!! PLEASE ALSO NOTE - that the white 'dot' in my picture on the black inside gatefold is actually a speck of dust going across my camera in the picture - NOT on the cover AT ALL!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
