For sale here is a VERY rare LP. released in 1968 (especially in this condition) by THE DOORS  called " WAITING FOR THE SUN" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press ELEKTRA label. THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS EASILY ONE OF THE DOORS RAREST LP'S EVER, AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (not in this condition!!)... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB!! CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) 1st PRESS EKS 74024 A1  / EKS 74024 B1- MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS NON LAMINATED ERNEST J DAY GATEFOLD  SLEEVE  - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD in SUPERB!! condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is EKS 74024 

Labels are the sensational blood orange rough textured elektra format in near mint condition!!.With the elektra logo above the spindle hole on both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has only 2 or 3 very minor spindle lines, to indicate that the record has possibly only had 2 or 3 very careful plays!! With NO damage of any kind.NO graffiti , NO rips, NO tears, and NO sticker marks whatsoever!!! and would therefore grade as near mint!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees, There are NO surface marks, or blemishes at all!! Only one of the tiniest scratches and a couple of tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!.A stunning visual and impossible to locate in this condition!!!.Would therefore grade as excellent++  mint!! (if not for the tiniest scratch would grade as near mint!!!!)

 

Sleeve

First issue non laminated Ernest J. Day gatefold sleeve is Showing only very minor signs of storage wear at the edges and corners.The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever!!!.The sleeve is in very good+++ condition!!! and a Fantastic collectors item. The Spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible. This is a fine example of this sensational elektra classic.!!
