Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : ELEKTRA Catalogue No : EKL 4024 Matrix : EKL 4024 A1 / B1
This is the rare UK 1st press of 'Waiting For The Sun' by The Doors. This MONO rare press is complete with the earliest A1 / B1 matrix, the earliest textured orange labels, the original plain inner sleeve and gatefold flipback lightweight sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is extremely glossy with a number of very light marks on both sides. None are heavy and when played they do little to affect play. The sound is rich and vibrant with just a little light background noise. The sound is bold and clear throughout.
The rare textured orange label is in Excellent condition. The colours and print are immaculate, the text is exceptionally sharp and there is only the very light spindle wear.
The lightweight gatefold flipback sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. This sleeve is solid and completely clean. There is a little light edge and ring wear and a couple of light marks on the front of the sleeve but the sleeve is still very firm and extremely bright. The picture is sharp and the inside is superb. The flipbacks are sealed and the text is clear. The spine is still firm wth clear text.
