The Doors - Waiting For The Sun - Elektra EKS 74024

Rare Stereo Original

As they were recorded in the studio,

and harder to find than the mono release

 

In superb EXCELLENT condition

UK ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ 1st press with A1 and B1 stampers

Original 1st press thick vinyl with 'textured' feel to labels

Original gatefold sleeve with lyrics on the inside

Vinyl:

This is the original UK 1st press stereo release in thick vinyl with the textured feel to the labels. The LP looks EXCELLENT! There are a few very light spindle marks on the labels but it really hasn’t been played often. The vinyl has a lovely deep black sheen, with only 2 or 3 very tiny light scratches when held up to the light. This is a genuinely rare 1st pressing in this condition - A1 (Side 1) and B1 (Side 2) stamped by the run-off grooves.

 

Labels:

These are the original orange/red Elektra 'textured' labels. They are in EXCELLENT clean condition with only a few very monor spindle marks on both sides.

 

Sleeve:

The original gatefold sleeve is in genuinelyVERY GOOD++ undamaged condition showing little of the wear associated with handling and shelving and ageing. There are no tears, no corner dents, and the spine is firm with no significant creases, but does have some very minor rubbing The cover is clean and clear both inside and out. The colours have not faded at all. It looks fantastic for a sleeve that is 43 years old!!
