Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the third LP by the Doors, released in 1968. The record features the group's second #1 hit single, the fuzz-drenched "Hello, I Love You." The other single drawn from the LP, "The Unknown Soldier," also sneaked into the top 40, while the LP itself was the group's only #1 (though all of the original group's LPs made it into the top ten). For those into the minutiae: this copy is from the Monarch pressing. The unipak jacket has mostly light creasing in the corners and along the spine, light ring wear and (on the front cover) staining, and light spine and bottom seam wear (EX). The disc is clean with a few fingerprints and a little light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- EX(+). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
