Description

THE DOORS self-titled album LP EKL-4007. This is the censored release.

Original West Coast pressing with gold label. Not tan or brown label. MONO in bold font on both front cover and on record label. Non-west coast pressings lack the mono banner. Has "Witmark ASCAP" on credits for "Alabama Song". 2nd pressings credit it to "Harms Co. ASCAP"
in runoff area (matrix) are etched the MR logo and the "delta" symbol which also indicates Monarch Records Mfg. Co as the production plant.

Record label has previous owner's name written on both sides. Record is to me a Good + to a VG -. Exhibits signs of use and wear, some slight surfaces scratches, a few deeper ones, long one on side B is audible via pops as needle passes over, but it did not skip on my system (Sony PS-X65).
Liner is in good shape, had a long tear and some split seams which I repaired with magic tape. Album cover is a Good with chpping to all edges, seam split on open side, ring wear, and previous owner's name written on back. Some loss of gloss to cover.
