Guess you all missed this one first listing so I'm giving you another chance with a new LOW start!!
If you are looking for a good copy of this - look no further! The record is excellent condition – unmarked and showing no sign of play. The sleeve is very good with a little laminate lift to the RH edge and one crease, that’s all.
One of the great “lost” albums on the Beatles Apple label!....it’s an ORIGINAL UK issue (SAPCOR 13)…NOT an American or foreign issue! (Apple ST 3371)….This is the real deal.
No personnel is given but my research tells me included is George Harrison (who oversaw the bulk of the production), Stephen Stills, Klaus Voormann and Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Peter Frampton, Leon Russell, Eric Clapton and members of Delaney & Bonnie Friends
Simply titled ‘Doris Troy’ this album, issued in September 1970, showcases her lead singing, her songwriting talents and her funky-soul-R&B style and rates in my opinion as one of the great R&B (real R&B) records of all time.
