EARLY 70s ALBUM
This ORIGINAL SEALED STEREO ALBUM (Cadet LPS 841) features the original compositions of Dorothy Ashby inspired by the words of Omar Khayyam. Dorothy plays harp and koto and occasional vocals; Lenny Druss on flute and oboe; Stu Katz, vibes and kalimba; and others. Titles include Myself When Young; For Some We Loved; Wax and Wane; Drink; Wine; Dust; Joyful Grass and Grape; Shadow Shapes; Heaven and Hell; The Moving Finger. The album was recorded in Chicago from November, 1969 - January, 1970, and is in like-new condition.
