This song is off the self-titled album from 1977, which was, needless to say, released on Melodiya records. The name of the song,
"Betlak Dala", translates "Hungry Steppe" and apparently, it's the name of a plateau in central Kazakhstan where the Baikonour
Cosmodrome is located!
