On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Downliners Sect called 'The Rock Sects In' and is a 1966 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS WAS THE DOWNLINERS SECTS THIRD LP AND IS VERY HARD TO FIND - ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  'TRASHED' COPIES OCCASSIONALLY TURN UP - BUT TO FIND A MONO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS CONDITION IS VERY HARD INDEED!!!!  THIS LP REALLY WAS A 'PARTY' RECORD IF EVER THERE WAS ONE - AND MOST GOT PLAYED VERY HEAVILY.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS ONE HAS CLEARLY ALWAYS BEEN WELL LOOKED AFTER AND BARELY PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  THIS IS THE VERY 1ST PRESSING WITH AN E.J.DAY FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER, BLUE/BLACK 1ST PRESS COLUMBIA LABELS, AN EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Columbia UK Blue/Black 1st pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 6028 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Columbia Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Downliners Sect at their best!!!! Any fan of The Downliners Sect, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 small NON sounding hairline, 1 tiny non sounding scuffline (only visible under light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD SHINES LIKE NEW AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  The only other thing to mention is 2 other scufflines - which whilst they are visible - they DO NOT affect the sound in ANY respect!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!!  In fact when I played this record though I was AMAZED at a sheer quality and clarity of the sound - and the only MEGA minor sound fault I noticed was 2 or 3 light clicks on 1 gap (NOT in the music AT ALL)!!!! The sound this record makes is simply AWESOME!!!!  From start to finish there is ZERO distortion - even on the innermost tracks!!!!  SUPERB SOUND!!!! The record must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better and it is SO HARD to find this LP in this condition (most are trashed)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Flipback Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO wear, only 1 MEGA faint 'grazeline' towards the top, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS IS A MEGA RARE LP AND REALLY TOUGH TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
