Description

Actually credited to the DR Hooker Band, Armageddon was recorded in 1974 but not released until 1979. A greatly and inexplicably underrated album in my estimation, the psychedelic sounds are here supplemented with more progressive moves, due to the use of Mellotron and synthesizers. I think this one is as good as his first album, (The Truth), and you just never see it offered for sale. Apparently only 500 were made, and this one is AUTOGRAPHED by D.R. himself on the cover (it doesn’t show up well in the photo I took, but it’s in the upper right-hand corner). Note that I am listing this with NO RESERVE! As with The Truth, this was released privately on the On Records label. There is some cover wear/ring wear, and a bent corner on the back cover. The cover and the vinyl are both in VG+ condition. This means that both are in VERY GOOD condition (really)! This one’s ultra rare, so jump on it if you want it!
