Description

DR. STRANGELY STRANGE Kip Of the Serenes LP, Island ILPS 9106, UK 1st pressing from 1969 on pink label with black/orange circle logo. A//1, B//1 stamped matrixes. This copy comes complete with its original Island poly-lined inner bag.

The disc is in a MINT- condition. Pristine, deep-gloss surface, without surface marks or visible scratches. Careful inspection in strong daylight reveals just a handful of harmless wispy paper hairlines. However, they do not affect the sound quality of the record. This copy has received only a handful of careful plays on superb quality equipment and as a result - the sound is clean and warm throughout. In fact, apart from a  few odd low-key tics here and there and two light clicks on “Tale Of Two  Orphanages”, there is nothing else to fault audibly on this superb copy.

The original matt cover by Ernest J. Day is in an EXCELLENT+ condition.  A respectable example of this extremely fragile cover which bears general storage/handling wear but no major faults. Please study the pictures closely.
