TITLE: KIP OF THE SERENES
ARTIST: DR. STRANGELY STRANGE
LABEL, YEAR OF RELEASE & OTHER DETAILS: ISLAND PINK (ORANGE/BLACK EYEBALL LOGO) U.K., 1969, STEREO ILPS-9106
MATRIX NO'S. ILPS 9106 A//1 11 / ILPS 9106 B//1 11
VINYL: EX both sides are superb, clean but there is a very light scuff line that extends across track one and half of track two side 1 - this has no effect on play and only light background noise to audio....it still retains a beautiful original black sheen and looks quite stunning!!
AUDIO: EX...plays with no skips or jumps..quiet run-ins..overall a really fantastic listen!!
SLEEVE: VG+...matt Ernest j. day & co. sleeve, spine and top / bottom edges show signs of scuffing wear and tear. Still solid all round with opening edges that are straight and sharp. Spine text is not readable, due to the scuffing...front and back are very clean with colours bright and all text readable...overall sleeve is in a pretty solid and clean shape for its' age!!
LABELS: EX+ very nice and clean!!...
INNER SLEEVE: EX UK patent (foreign patents pending) white die-cut poly-lined inner...
GRADING: I AM NO EXPERT BUT TRY AND GRADE AS HONESTLY AS POSSIBLE...WITH PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
I WILL ALWAYS POST WITH RECOGNISED MAILERS AND STIFFENERS...THE VINYL WILL BE SEPARATED FROM THE SLEEVE PRIOR TO MAILING....
