DUANE ALLMAN - AN ANTHOLOGY - What we have here is another great rock masterpiece, rare 1st US 1972 pressing on CAPRICORN label, manufactured by Warner Bros. Records in USA. Housed in gatefold picture sleeve, in magnificient NEAR MINT condition of the records, cover EX++ and with 16 pages booklet in MINT.
Everybody familiar with Duane legacy knows this is great compilation of Duane's work as a session guitar player for other musicians, Aretha Franklin, Ronnie Hawkins, King Curtis, John Hammond, Bozz Scaggs and others, there are tracks by Hourglass and Derek & The Dominos of which Duane was a member and of course some track s by The Allman Brothers Band. You can see all tracks on the photos. Booklet is packed with black & white photos and essay by Tony Glover about Duane legacy and history. Booklet in Mint condition
I will try to give as accurate and strict description as I possibly can. ( if you check my feedback you will see that my grading is honest and strict )

All these fact confirm this is original genuine 1st US pressing.
Records are housed in the plain white polylined inner sleeves perfectly clean.
The USA printed heavy card pasted-on glossy ( but not laminated ! ) cover, with legendary Duane fishing photo on front is in excellent+ condition, with only modest edge and corner wear, really nothing serious. No seam splits, spine is sturdy and strong and 100% legible with no wear. Front is perfectly clean and without blemishes, only a beginning of slight ringwear. There is a ringwear on the back of the cover but much less pronounced as on the photo, I tried to give a very good picture of the condition. Inside the open gatefold is perfect, with photo of the band in the canoe on the lake, with rich colors and without wear. I can easily grade the cover at least EXCELLENT++. Records are both beauties, with hardly any evidence of play, bright, shiny vinyls, no marks , no hailines, no scratches, no scuffs, NEAR MINT visual condition !
Labels are NEAR MINT, with no visible spindle marks, bright, full rich color, clean without any writing and perfectly legible, a feast for your eyes.
Playgrading on my J.A. Mitchell GyroDec was a feast for my ears too !
Both records play straight and track perfect, without background noise, with fine full dynamics and volume, clear differentiated reach and full sound, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT 1st pressing. Playgraded as NEAR MINT. You will hardly be able to upgrade this one, rare and collectable record set in great condition. To my ears, the sonics of this pressing beats by far later CD releases, which is most notable on the track Loan Me A Dime, which shines here in its full glory.
