Description

This is the first pressing of the Durutti Colmn Lp "The Return Of The Durutti Column", on translucent red vinyl! The cover is very textured. The matrix on the record indicates "Sound Clinic", where later pressings were mastered by Town House. Also, to my knowledge, later pressings were not on color vinyl. There is an edition from a few months prior (in 1980) which came in a sand paper sleeve, and obviously this is not that edition. However, I believe the pressing of the vinyl itself is the same as the sand paper edition, and simply issued for the first time in this printed and textured cover. Also, to my knowledge, the second and later pressings have 6 songs on Side B, where this Sound Clinic pressing only has 5! A very rare and beautiful piece of Factory Records history!

Condition of the vinyl is Excellent, without any scratches or skips. Plays beautifully.
Condition of the cover is Very Good+, with some ring wear and very minor edge wear.
