RARE '80s COUNTRY VINYL LP IN THE SHRINK WITH HARD TO FIND HYPE STICKER IN FANTASTIC CONDITION- Dwight Yoakam- Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. (Reprise 9 25372-1, 1-25372, 1986, US). Gorgeous stock copy of the first nationally-distributed LP pressing on Reprise. Jacket still in the original shrinkwrap, with a scarcely seen hype sticker in the top right corner. This hype sticker was most likely only used on the very earliest pressings, and copies with the sticker don't turn up for sale very often. Comes in original, Black & White print, paper innersleeves, with lyrics on one side and picture on the other. (Inner is in nice, crisp shape with a few light creases & minor corner bends. 4 1/2" split, center bottom seam and small 1 1/4" split, center right seam of the innersleeve.) "SRC" stampers in the deadwax on each side, indicating this was pressed at the Specialty Records Corporation pressing plant. Most copies of this that turn up for sale are Record Club editions, and the stock copies (sold in stores, as opposed to Club pressings) that do turn up for sale, usually have corner "cut outs". RECORD CONDITION: Side 1: EX/EX+ Side 2: VG++/EX-. Beautiful, glossy vinyl. A couple of very light, tiny surface marks on Side 1 that are barely noticeable. A handful of longer, but still very light hairline marks on Side 2. Should play with a nice, clear sound, with occasional light static/surface noise and maybe a few light tics at the very worst. Tri-color Reprise labels are nice and bright, with a few ultra light spindle marks that are hardly discernible. A very nice copy.

JACKET CONDITION: EX+/NM-. Bright, glossy, fantastic example in the shrink, which is still attached nice and tight. Nice, bright colors. Hype sticker attached to the shrink, top right corner. Some minor, very light corner bends and a few barely noticeable "dings" along the jacket opening. Very tiny, light stain on the shrinkwrap, along the top seam, near the top left corner of front cover. As close to flawless as you're likely to find, even among jackets that see still sealed.
