"OH! SUZY Q", Rare original 1958 lp by Dale Hawkins on CHESS 1429. record has lots of scratches and some scuffs. most of the scratches are light but there are many. plays loud and strong with scattered clicks and ticks which are more noticeable in between tracks and during softer passages. the record plays better than the grade and some tracks play suprisingly well. the labels have some spindle marks. the jacket is completely split along the top and bottom seam. i could have done a neat job repairing them with clear tape that would have been barely noticeable but i found that some collectors would rather repair it themselves. the spine is intact. the front slick has some small scattered spots or and a small surface tear. doesn't look bad at all. the back is pretty decent with some light wear and light soiling.(see photos).
