Up for sale here is my own copy of the first Damned LP from 1977 with the erratum photo of Eddie & the Hot Rods on the back cover. I purchased this new by mail order from Stiff Records in the summer of 1977. Unfortunately, fifteen year old me immediately threw away the shrinkwrap with the Damned Damned sticker that sealed the LP. As you can see, there are a few corner creases thanks to Stiff Records' flimsy packaging. Over the past forty seven years I have moved house many times, including my big move from England to the US in 2011 and the sleeve does show some gentle rubbing on the spine and edges, plus the aforementioned corner creases. Please study the photos. I will be happy to send more, if required. The actual record has been played through once and still retains the sheen of a brand new record. I also purchased the regular copy of the album around the same time, which was the copy I have played since. Incidentally, one of my few regrets is that I didn't get to see this particular lineup play, though I did get to see the band later in 1977 at the Top Rank in Birmingham with Jon Moss on drums and Lu on rhythm guitar. The Dead Boys supported.
The LP will be shipped in a strong, sturdy record mailer (the same record mailer that I use at work at B&N to ship their vinyl).
