HELLO and Thanks for viewing my auction.

 

1981 and my life was about to change as I was to have a genre of music that was all mine. No more Abba or Presley from the parents brief collection, this was it. I had already discovered Madness and this LP (I got it on cassette first!) cemented my love for ska that has never left me in 32 years!!

 

This is an original 1981 paper label 2 Tone LP TT5004

In stunning condition apart from some turntable marks on Too Much Pressure on Side B

Still plays and is overall a very clean copy with a very special extra feature.

 

many years ago the NEC Memorabila fair which was nearly totally film and TV star driven expanded into sports stars and then after that was a hit for one show (as sadly it wasn't a hit) they tried old music stars. Ska was the chosen main genre but the stars were one of the Monkees, who was grumpy, Ed Tudor Pole who got drunk and never showed up, Buster Blood Vessel who didn't even bother to try to come and so left the three nicest members of my ska past.

All 3 were more than happy to chat and remember time gone by and how Pauline didn't dare tell her mum she swore on the album. They were virtually ignored but the nicest most down to earth genuine people you would want to meet and they made my day.

 

I got the back of the LP signed by all three, Ranking right by his awesome picture!

I also got a poster from another Dance Craze copy I had and that still has pride of place and Pauline didn't even know it had been issued and had never seen it!!!

 

Really special Piece - would look great framed. Hope you don't buy it!
