This is possibly my favourite vinyl release of all time. It certainly is my favourite vinyl release I’ve ever personally owned…
Truly a delight to not only the ears, but the eyes as well, this Limited Edition of Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi’s masterpiece, Rome looks as good as it sounds, and sounds as good as it looks. A true achievement, considering each sets the bar so exceptionally high.
The first record provides the listener the story told through vocals and music, while the second is purely instrumental, conveying its message simply through the power of music.
Recorded and engineered at Forum Music Village, Rome, Italy.
Mixed at Glenwood Place Studios, Burbank, CA.
Jack White vocals recorded at Blackbird Studio, Nashville, TN.
Norah Jones vocals recorded at Glenwood Place Studios, Burbank, CA.
Mastered at Marcussen Mastering.
Limited edition.
Double-Pocket Gatefold LP cover. Old style, tip-on sleeve.
Black-foil print on cover.

Two coloured inner sleeves:

The copy upon which you will be bidding is in overall excellent condition.
The only minor defects are:
A few indents pressed into the foil heart, and slight scuff on the top right corner of the front cover.
Both inner sleeves have approximately two inch splits of the bottom of each sleeve, but are otherwise in excellent condition.
The fold-out, double-sided heart poster has a few slight bends, but no creases besides the factory fold lines, and is in what I consider to be very good condition.
The vinyl is virtually flawless, with no visible scratches. The one time I listened to this album, I did so straight-through. This album sounds truly incredible, and when enjoyed on a quality turntable and hi-fi setup, it’s going to move you emotionally, and make you truly appreciate music in a way you likely haven’t in a long time.
