For sale is Daniel Lanois' Shine, originally released in 2003 by Anti Records featuring Bono, Emmy-lou Harris and lots more! This is probably the rarest of Daniel's records and this is the best copy I've ever seen or heard. I bought this and immediately put it in a protective inner sleeve, like I do to all my records. This protects the vinyl and any original inner sleeve that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Near Mint. The vinyl is graded as Near Mint Minus with the faintest of sleeve marks. The cover is graded as VG+ with blunted corners, two minute stress cracks and a 1/2" tear on the spine. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I would recommend this for the sound quality of the recording and the people who play on this iconic record. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
