PACKAGING and SHIPPING:  Each LP will be placed in a new poly-lined white paper sleeve.  The original sleeve, if available and in acceptable condition, will also be enclosed.  The LP will be carefully packed and protected employing an “industry standard” cardboard mailer and will be identified as “fragile” to the applicable shipping agent.  Finally, a tracking number will be provided for your purchase convenience.

GRADING CRITERIA:  Below are the grading guidelines and standards that I employ to assess the record listed for sale:

STILL SEALED (SS):  An unopened, factory sealed recording.  Naturally, any obvious “flaws” are described according.

MINT (M):  An absolutely perfect recording in every way – including the cover and any/all applicable inserts.

NEAR MINT (NM):   A recording that looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. In other words, a nearly perfect recording, without significant defects to the record and any/all applicable inserts.  

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+):  A recording that may have very, very minor flaws which might include slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience.  There may be some very light ring wear or “flaws” to the covers and any/all applicable inserts.

Very Good (VG):  A recording that will have more obvious flaws and plays with surface noise especially in soft passages.  However, the surface noise will not significantly overpower the music.  There will be more obvious signs of human handling.  There will be more obvious ring wear and/or seam splits to the cover and any/all applicable inserts.
