Description
It vaguely pains me to sell this, but there you are- my slight smart is your gain. Is my goddamned mortgage pay off.
Here's a copy of Dantalian's Chariot's wild 1967 psych mini-masterpiece Madman Running Through The Fields backed with Sun Came Bursting Through The Clouds, on Columbia records. I think it's pretty well documented now that this was Zoot Money and a pre-Soft Machine Andy Summers pretty much defining the UK psychedic sound.
Superb stuff, and not often seen.
Disc looks a bit battered- there are obvious scratches to the record in several places- BUT it plays through with minimum of interruption. There are a few clicks on the intro- clicks that very much get lost in the opening reverse drumbeats, and an audible (though soft) click during one or two of the quieter moments. In fact, here's a sample of the entire record (taken on a lightweight Vestax handytracks portable machine)- judge for yourselves...
What a truly beautiful bit of music.
I'd grade disc at VG+, visually VG-. Comes in Company sleeve.
