Hello fellow record collectors,
I'm selling off most of my record collection and I'll be listing all my metal, stoner and doom stuff first, some alternative, and then all my classic rock of various sorts, so keep an eye on my listings if you're interested. Here is a totally decent copy of Danzig II Lucifuge LP on black vinyl. The vinyl is in less than perfect condition, but still pretty clean looking. It does have some light scuffing and a couple of tiny scratches which can be seen in the light and the record does not play flawlessly, but does still play pretty well overall. I think there's only 2 or 3 times where there's a noticeable pop, but no skipping. I think this would be- rated somewhere between VG+ and EX-. The cover is in great condition. Danzig's second release is also their most diversified. They explore their blues roots with a couple of boogies, a slow shuffle, and a slide number, throwing in a '50s-reminiscent ballad in waltz time for good measure. Glenn Danzig's theatrical vocals don't prevent these numbers from working surprisingly well (except when he attempts a Mississippi Delta accent on "Killer Wolf"), demonstrating his talents and range of expression as a vocalist. The simple, somewhat standard blues-metal riffs of their debut are here ("Snakes of Christ" is a flat-out rewrite of Danzig's "Twist of Cain"), but not as plentiful, making the record more interesting and listenable. "Her Black Wings" ranks with the band's best songs.
I will package this in a sturdy cardboard record mailer. I will ship Regular Parcel Post through Canada Post. Shipping will cost $12.00 to Manitoba and east and $10.00 to Saskatchewan and west and all of the US. This will include $200 of insurance. International buyers should ask me the shipping cost on an individual basis and I will find out the cost. You should probably get insurance too.
