Description

Limited edition four track Purple vinyl 12” single from Danzig of ‘Mother’ released on the American Recordings label in 1994.

This was in Mint/Unplayed condition, but upon inspection prior to listing it would appear that side 1 has a kind of ‘dull haze’ to parts of the surface which looks like it must have occurred via prolonged contact between the vinyl and the clear PVC sleeve. Side 2 which was in contact with the card insert shows no similar signs. I have tried to photograph the ‘haze’ in the final photo.

I test played sections of Side 1 and apart from the usual crackles and noise on the run in and run off the ‘haze’ does not manifest itself when the track(s) play.
I have checked online and it would appear other copies of this 12” for sale suffer from the same ‘hazing’ to the surface.
