Dar Disku Dar Disku LP Soundway Records SNDWLP 181 // 5060571363114 Gatefold Cover Vinile Vinyl Nuovo New

Dar Disku, the Bahraini-born, British-based duo, celebrates their Arabic heritage with a debut album that blends golden age West Asian and North African sounds with modern dance beats. Recorded in the UK, Algeria, Turkey, and Tunisia, the album seamlessly transitions from disco to Raï, piano house to Turkish psychedelia, and ambient to Bollywood. Featuring guest artists from Algeria, Turkey, Bahrain, and legendary Indian singer Asha Puthli, the album captures the energy of their DJ sets and the cultural exchanges on dancefloors worldwide.
Resident Advisor notes the duo's authentic embrace of Arab identities, while Crack Magazine praises the album's evocative mood reminiscent of Bahrain’s car park raves and 80s Algerian discos. Dar Disku's debut is a vibrant, multicultural celebration that unites traditional and contemporary sounds.
